Harvey Grandstaff, Ph.D., CCC/SLP has been a practicing speech pathologist for 33 years.His experience has included acute care hospitals, rehab-SNF facilities, public schools, private practice and Universities. He is Professor Emeritus at Miami University of Ohio.
He has presented scientific papers in speech pathology at both national and international conventions. He has been included in editions of "Who's Who Biographical Record", compiled by the editors of Who's Who In America?.

He served as research consultant in speech pathology at the University of Illinois Research and Education Hospital in Chicago, Illinois and he received post-doctoral training at Duke University Medical Center. He has completed graduate courses in both dysphagia and neurogenic disorders. He completed his internship in dysphagia at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
His primary areas of expertise are in the evaluation and treatment of dysphagia and neurogenic disorders.

On October 9, 2009, Harvey Grandstaff, Ph.D., was awarded the Beta Chi chapter of Phi Kappa Tau "Man of the Year" award. He is married and has two sons. He now resides in Florida.
